- bag, cartons, boxes or crates in any multiple of 1/2 dozen
- transparent packages with any number up to 1 dozen.
Packing Level Tolerances
The following tolerances by count apply to any package or lot of sweet corn before the package or lot would fail to meet the grade requirement at the packing level:
- where sweet corn is packed 30 or less ears, 10% of the packages of sweet corn may be 5% more or less than the number of ears declared on the package
- where sweet corn is packed 36 or more ears, 10% of the packages may contain 2 ears more or less than the number of ears declared on the package
- 5 % of the ears of sweet corn by count may be below the minimum length
- 15% of the ears of sweet corn by count may exceed the maximum declared length
- 10% of the ears of sweet corn by count may have any defects including not more than 1% decay or 5% that have the same defect.

Corn Oil
Corn oil shall be clear and brilliant when held at 70 degrees to 85 degree Fahrenheit. The oil shall be free from sediment, such as metal, wood, dirt, glass, paint, insects, insect parts, or any other foreign material. The oil shall have a bland odor and flavor and shall be free from beany, rancid, painty, musty, metallic, fishy, putrid, or any other undesirable odor and/or flavor. The oil shall have a light viscosity shall and not have a heavy oily mouth feel. The oil must be fortified with vitamin A (retinol palmitate) at the rate of 60-75 IU/g.

Corn Animal Feed
Description
Corn feed is a by-product from the manufacture of cornstarch and corn syrup. It is a medium protein feed, which contains almost the same Total Digestible Nutrients level as barley. The protein in corn feed is degraded relatively rapidly in the rumen.
Corn feed has medium palatability and may be included in the grain mixture up to a level of 50 percent or fed to cows at a rate of up to 12 pounds (5.4 kg) per cow per day.
